destroying the sequence (umbilical cord)

it's easy in theory, to
nip the bud
cut the wire
snip the cord

just keep an even mind
climb the mountain
and hit the top
 and don't lose the scissors
or the will

then, to stop the parasitical circumstance,
rip the cord from the lover
and learn to feed elsewhere
and learn to survive without handouts

am i capable?
am i ready to be born into the world?
can i survive
without the umbilical cord?
